With six locations in Utah, seven in summer of 2017 and with day, evening and weekend classes we have the perfect part-time job for you. In order to qualify to teach you must meet certain requirements imposed by the Utah Nurse Assistant Registry and some required by the school.

To work part-time as a classroom instructor you must:

  • Be a nurse in good standing with DOPL with a current UTAH nurse license.
  • You must have been a nurse for at least one year
  • You must have at least two years’ experience working in long term care OR with the senior population in home health or hospice
  • You must be able to pass a background check (this is waived if you are concurrently employed by another health care organization)

To work as a Clinical Supervisor you must:

  • Be a nurse in good standing with DOPL with a current UTAH nurse license.
  • You must have been a nurse for at least one year
  • You must have at least two years experience working in long term care OR with the senior population in home health or hospice
  • You must be able to pass a background check (this is waived if you are concurrently employed by another health care organization)

To work as a teacher assistant you must:

  • Have a current CNA license
  • Be willing to travel to other campuses

You must also:

  • Be organized, conscientious and detailed.
  • You must possess a warm and generous attitude – students in this demographic need caring and encouragement.
  • You must be reliable, totally and have a personal life that does not get in the way of work. Students count on you to show up and prepare them to be the caregivers of the future.
