With four locations in Utah with day, evening, and weekend classes, we have the perfect part-time job for you. In order to qualify to teach, you must meet certain requirements imposed by the Utah Nurse Assistant Registry.
To work part-time as a classroom instructor you must:
- Be a nurse in good standing with DOPL with a current UTAH nurse license.
- You must have been a nurse for at least two years
- You must have at least two years’ experience working in long term care OR with the senior population in home health or hospice
- You must be able to pass a background check (this is waived if you are concurrently employed by another health care organization)
To work as a Clinical Supervisor you must:
- Be a nurse in good standing with DOPL with a current UTAH nurse license.
- You must have been a nurse for at least two year
- You must have at least two years of experience working in long-term care OR with the senior population in home health or hospice
- You must be able to pass a background check (this is waived if you are concurrently employed by another health care organization)
To work as a teacher assistant you must:
- Have a current CNA license
- Be willing to travel to other campuses
You must also:
- Be organized, conscientious, and detailed.
- You must possess a warm and generous attitude.
- You must be reliable.
