1 How long do I have to complete the CNA program?
You have 60 days from the date your payment is processed to complete the 100-hour CNA program. This includes 49 hours of online coursework, 27 hours of in-person skills labs, and 24 hours of clinical training.
2When can I start?
Start by creating your account, completing registration, and paying tuition. You can begin the online portion once your course access is available. Your 60-day completion period begins when your payment is processed.
3Do I need to pick a class date?
You do not need to select a class date for the self-paced online portion. After completing the online coursework, you’ll schedule your required in-person skills labs and clinical training based on availability.
4How old do I need to be?
You must be at least 16 years old before paying for and starting the CNA program. If you’re 15, please wait until your 16th birthday to submit payment.
5Do I need to speak English?
Yes. You need to understand and communicate in English to participate in the program. Instruction, coursework, and state certification exams—including the knowledge test—are in English.
Our entire staff speaks Spanish and is happy to help with enrollment, program questions, and available resources. Spanish-language support does not change the language of instruction or testing.
6What locations do you offer?
We offer classroom and skills-lab locations in Murray, Orem, Clearfield, and Logan. Our administrative office is located in Murray.
Clinical training takes place at approved healthcare facilities and may be at a different location from your skills labs.
7How much does the program cost?
Tuition is $575. Required supplies and state certification testing fees are additional. Visit our Tuition & Fees page for a full breakdown.
8What supplies do I need?
Textbook, BP cuff/stethoscope, scrubs, and watch with second hand.
9What if I miss lab?
Contact the Administrative Office to arrange make-up time. A $50 rescheduling fee applies for each day missed. You may miss up to 8 total hours, but all missed time must be made up by your program completion deadline unless an extension is approved.
If you miss more than 8 total hours, you must restart skills lab or be dismissed from the program. All 27 skills-lab hours and required paperwork must be completed before attending clinical training.
10What if I miss clinical?
Contact the Administrative Office to reschedule. A $100 rescheduling fee applies for each missed clinical shift. Full attendance is required. If you are sent home for any reason, you must reschedule and pay the fee.
All 24 clinical hours must be completed by your program completion deadline unless an extension is approved.
11What if I need an extension?
You are expected to complete the program within 60 days from the date your payment is processed. If unexpected circumstances affect your progress, contact us before your deadline to discuss your options.
Contact your online instructor for online coursework concerns or the Administrative Office for skills labs and clinical training. Extensions are reviewed case by case and are not guaranteed. Additional fees and supporting documentation may be required.
12What if I need to restart?
If you restart the CNA program, you must complete the entire program again. Previous coursework and training hours do not carry over. Contact our team for restart instructions and applicable fees.
